Manual Handling Training

Site specific. Bespoke.

Manual Handling & Human Error

One of the biggest threats to workplace health and safety is injury resulting from manual handling tasks. Every worker across all Industry performs manual handling tasks on a daily basis. The majority of manual handling injuries occur due to human error, and people are more likely to make mistakes when they do not possess the skills or knowledge required to manipulate or negotiate objects within their specific work environment.

In fact most people are unaware of how to move their bodies efficiently during simple daily activities, let alone during activities that require specialist equipment and handling techniques.

Kadam Kinetics offers on-site, site specific training to address these deficiencies.

Who should attend?

Kadam Kinetics offers manual handling training to all employees within every sector across the work force. A common misconception is that manual handling training is only for manual workers, as sedentary staff do not participate in manual handling. This, in fact, could not be further from the truth.  Office staff, plant operators and drivers are often more susceptible to injury from manual handling tasks due to the nature of their work.  Poor posture, fatigue, complacency and interaction with poorly designed equipment are significant factors contributing to suboptimal performance of manual tasks.

Every person in every workplace can benefit from manual handling training.
